Well guys, its official, I have become a podcaster!!  My friend Blake and I have started a podcast called The Generation Gap.  We are 2 episodes in and we are having a blast doing it so come give us a listen and let us know what you think!!  

So Why The Chicago Bulls?

I am often asked why I love the Chicago Bulls as much as I do.  So many people believe its because I jumped on the Michael Jordan bandwagon, and while he is a small part of the reason it honestly isn’t like that.   It was 1988-89 when I was first introduced to the Bulls.

Flash In The Pan

A little over a year ago the world was in an uproar over the death of Trayvon Martin.  Nine months ago, there was mass outrage delivered from the Aurora Dark Knight shooting.    And lets not forget that just five months ago we all mourned the horrific events of Sandy Hook Elementary.

Remembering

While driving home last night I had a strange thought process that led me to remember a kid I knew back in high school.  He was two years behind me so we really didn’t interact much together, but like many, I knew who he was.  he wasn’t a popular kid by any means, but was known for more devious reasons.

Things I Want To Do In 2013

You can call them resolutions if it makes you happy, but these are just things that I would like to try in the coming year.  I feel like 2012 was a little disappointing  in the aspect that I really didn’t do anything memorable.  I am hoping in a year from now I can publish a post about all the amazing things I accomplished in 2013.  No matter what happens or what I do I look forward to sharing the next year with you all!

Searching For My Sister Update (FOUND HER)

About a month ago I started writing posts about looking for my sister. You can read those posts here, here, here and here.  In my last post I stated that I would be giving it a rest.  I never gave up on looking, but after I found them I wanted to give them time to take all of it in and make a decision to talk to me or not.  It took a little over a month, but I can now say that I have officially found my sisters.

I’m Going To Need A Bigger Mantle

For the last couple of weeks I have been getting back into writing on a more frequents basis.  Its been great to say the least.  I have enjoyed interacting with you all so much, and I guess you guys have enjoyed it as well.  I have been going through my mail and it seems you guys have nominated me for a metric shit ton of awards.  I of course am completely humbled by the love you all have shown this “Shit” blog of mine.

OK guys 2012 is coming to an end which means its time to induct someone into the DHoF (Douche Hall of Fame).  In the last 5 months I have presented several people I have felt deserved to be Douche of the Week, but now its your turn to voice your opinion.

Douche Of The Week 12-17

5 months ago I started this blog with the original DOW.  Back then a DOW to me would be someone that just pissed me off or did something I felt was douche-like.  Today I find myself writing about about a douche that almost makes me never want to write another DOW post again.  I am not sure there will never be another DOW that deserves to be called a douche more than the ones I am about to write about.  This week was so bad that you are actually getting a 2 for 1.  That’s right, its the DOUBLE DOUCHE!
