Blogging Award #2

When I learned of my first blogging award I was kind of skeptical because it didn’t seem like a “legit” award.  It didn’t take me long to figure out I was being an asshole.  I didn’t think it was a real award because it didn’t come from some establishment that rates blogs, if there is even such a thing.  I soon realized that these awards are amazing.  They are given to you by other bloggers.  I don’t want an award from someone that doesn’t know anything about my blog, I want someone who comes to my blog and spends some time reading it and enjoying it.  These awards have become a badge of honor for me and with each one I receive I grow more and more gracious.

With that all said I want to thank Maggie over at http://wevelosttheplot.wordpress.com/.  She felt Talkin’ Shit was worth giving an award to.  Don’t know how much I agree with that, but I will humbly accept and send out my extreme gratitude.  Thank you so much!!

In the spirit of this nomination, here are seven things you may or may not know about me:

1. I am a 34 year old virgin…OK well that’s completely false but I was hoping for some shock value!
2. I have small hands.  They are not freakishly small but small enough to be on a woman half my size lol.
3. I want to be the next Bear Grylls.
4. I really miss living in a place that has more seasons.  I’m tired of Hot, Hotter, Hottest, and Holy Shit!
5. I say what I mean, and mean what I say.
6. I feel like I have lost my passion for cooking, and desperately want it back.
7. I need to shave my head right now, but I am way too lazy to even think about it.

2. Twisted Lola … This has become one of my new favorite haunts.  Just a very down to Earth person with great style.

4. The Undateable Virgin … A candid look into someone’s quest for a date and maybe some love.
5. Olivaobryon … An amazing writer whom I wish the very best luck with her book.
6. BroadBlogs … If Psychology seems boring, you haven’t been to Georgia’s blog!
7. Riding Around The Rotary … I love B’s writing and I am sure you will too!
