I am coming up on my 2 month (9-8) anniversary for Talkin’ Shit. It has been a great 2 months and I must say that I have had a lot of fun sharing my rantings with you all. I have written 54 posts and it amazes me how many views I get on all of them. Although I write for myself its still really cool to see how many people actually visit my blog to see whats going on. On 3 occasions I came really close to hitting 1000 views in a single day, but it is more of a surprise to me on the days I don’t post anything and still get a 300-400 views.
I will be the first to tell you that I have no idea why people read what I write. At first I thought people would check out my blog and then realize it was horrible, but now I have changed my mind. I am starting to actually think people like this blog. I don’t know if its because of my brutal honesty, charming wit, horrible grammar and punctuality or maybe people just love hearing me talk shit. Whatever it is I am grateful for every single person that has read, commented, liked, and followed this blog.
As it stands today Talkin’ Shit has amassed 8,463 views, 414 followers, 806 likes, and most important to me, 531 comments. I love when people like and follow my blog but the comments are my favorite part. I love seeing how what I have written has made an impact on someone and they take the time to share their feelings.
Well I look forward to sharing more shit with you all and I hope you all continue to share your feelings on it.

I didn’t expect to like your blog. I’m not a big fan of bad language. What hooked me, however, was your post “It’s so hard to say good-bye”. This glimpse into who you really are adds some perspective to the rantings that I would otherwise find to crass for my taste. By sharing your pain, you have honored your brother and allowed someone like me to enjoy the observations and humor you experience in your day to day life.

I actually thought about changing the name of the blog a while back because everyone kept telling me people wouldn’t like it. I am glad I kept it because at the end of the day I just want to be true to myself. I am glad you were able to get past the name and choose to stick around!
