Well there’s no reason to bury the lead on this one… Who the hell sues a 13 year old kid for over $150,000?? Elizabeth Lloyd was injured during a Jersey little league game when a ball struck her in the face. The ball was thrown by then 11 year old Matthew Migliaccio who was warming up before the game. The ball accidentally slipped out of the boy’s hand and went in to the stands striking the woman in the face. She sustained, in her own words, “severe, painful and permanent” injuries. I can understand that it must really suck getting hit in the face with balls (pause for laughter) but to sue a child over a complete accident that happened at the game is ridiculous. There is no present evidence that Matthew intentionally hit the woman in the face so I am not sure why this woman feels the need to drag him through court. This is one of the things that pisses me off about the judicial system. Everyone can sue you for anything nowadays. I not only hope that this woman is laughed out of the court room but that somehow she reads this blog so she knows that she is without any doubt the Douche of the Week.

  1. It must be hard to restrict this to only one douche per week…there’s so much to choose from.

oops pressed enter before I was finished the comment, sorry…

I think the Judge should award damages to the KID for being the victim of adult stupidity. Poor child is probably scarred for life by her insane actions.
